Jean-Pierre Dantec

Jean-Pierre Dantec is a French writer born in 1943, director of the École of architecture of the Paris-the-Villette until 2006, before being replaced by Bertrand Lemoine.

Engineer of the Central School of Paris (1966), and former leader Maoist of the proletarian Left in the Seventies, he became thereafter professor of Architecture, editor and writer. In 1970, it is blamed as a publication director of the newspaper the Cause of the People . The May 27th, the GP organizes a riot at the time of its lawsuit (condemned to one year of prison). It intervenes in 1973 at the time of the conference Brittany and self-management.
