Jean-Pierre Cattenoz

Jean-Pierre Cattenoz , born on December 17th 1945 with Maxéville (Lorraine), is archbishop of Avignon, bishop of Apt, Carpentras, Cavaillon, Orange and Vaison-the-Roman.

Former student of the school Saint-Sigisbert with Nancy, doctor in Theology, it is ordered priest on May 29th 1983. He was named Archevêque of Avignon by the pope Jean-Paul II on June 21st 2002.

He took public positions noticed on the catholic Enseignement.
