Jean-Pierre Bel
Jean-Pierre Bel , born on December 30th 1951, is a Politician French, socialist senator of the Ariège since the September 27th 1998.
In addition to its mandate to the Upper House of the Parliament French, it is Maire of Lavelanet. He is Member of the Commission of the Economic affairs and the Plan.
He was regional adviser the Midday-Pyrenees and general adviser of Ariège. He was also mayor of Mijanes, member of the National council of the mountain and Secrétaire of the Senate. After the senatorial elections of the September 26th 2004, it succeeded Claude Estier at the station of President of the socialist group of the Senate. It chose to support François Holland within the party.
