Jean-Pierre Aumont , of his true name Jean-Pierre Salomons (January 5th 1911, Paris, France - January 30th 2001 with Saint-Tropez, France) is a Acteur French.
Biography
Resulting from a family of actors (he was the nephew of the actor Georges Berr, an actor member of the Comédie-Française and his/her brother made a career of scenario writer under the name of François Villiers), Jean-Pierre Aumont is registered with the Conservatoire of Paris at 16 years and plays its first part in Jean of the moon . Equipped with a particularly advantageous physical beauty, that gives access to him roles of young first to the cinema, Jean Cocteau entrusts to him thus in 1934 the role of Oedipus in his the Explosive device .
He obtains a role in 1938 for Hôtel of North of Marcel Carné before exiling himself in the United States in 1940.

Jean-Pierre Aumont plays in 1973 in the American Night of François Truffaut then in various foreign productions.
One knows love affairs to him with Joan Crawford, Grace Kelly, Hedy Lamarr, Vivien Leigh and Barbara Stanwyck.
He dies in 90 years of an heart attack with Saint-Tropez.
