Jean-Pierre Élissalde
Jean-Pierre Élissalde is a rugby player French, born the December 31st 1953 with La Rochelle. It was half of fray to the Stade Rochelais, then with the Bayonne Aviron, and knew three selections in team of France. He is for this reason the player of the Rochelais Stage more wrapped history.
He became trainer of the flag team, initially in his club of always, the Rochelais Stage, whereas he was still player, at the 27 years age, during some time. He definitively takes this load at the end of his career in 1988. After a few months of interruption in 1993, it continues its work in Charente-Maritime, before leaving for the ACE Béziers (2003-05).
In 2005, he becomes the first foreign trainer of the team of Japan. But in September 2006, it agrees to become in parallel manager of the Bayonne Aviron for three years. Three weeks later, on September 29th, 2006, the Japanese federation announces that it will put a term at its contract on October 31st, 2006. According to it, the contract provided that Ellissalde is devoted only to the Japanese selection which must dispute its last matches of qualifications for the World cup of 2007 in November 2006.
