Jean-Paul Proust , born the March 3rd 1940 with Vaas (the Sarthe), is minister of state of the Principality of Monaco since the Wednesday the 1st er June 2005. It replaces SEM Patrick Leclercq at this station.

April 3rd, 2007: during the public meeting of the National council Monegasque, it rejects, in the name of the Princely Government, the n°188 bill aiming at dépénaliser the termination of pregnancy on medical grounds, thus creating a political serious attack, all the elected officials, of some edge which they are, being indignant publicly at this unilateral decision.
