Jean-Paul Medina

Jean-Paul Medina known as " Manu" was born on December 14th, 1960 with Béziers. It was 3/4 wing then 3/4 center.

Player trained with the club of Nissan-lez-Ensérune from where it is orginaire then with Lespignan. It arrived at ASB at beginning of the year 80 in junior team.

He quickly integrated the team first where he became as from 1983 a holder with whole share with like accomplice on the other wing null other that Michel Fabre.

A brawl with Guy Novès in quarterfinal of the Championship of France of season 1982/1983 deprived it of the finale to the Parc of the Princes vis-a-vis Nice.

The following year it is titular vis-a-vis large Agen of Philippe Sella and Coco Delage finally of the Championship and mark even on an interception.

The anecdote on " Manu" is that it is thus last the Biterrois to have marked a test finally to date.
