Jean-Paul Clébert

Jean-Paul Clébert (born in 1926 with Paris) is a writer French.

Biography

After having followed its studies in a religious institution, it joined the French Résistance in 1943. After the release, it spends six months in Asia then returns to France. It even then a clandestine life in l´univers of the Clochard S, which inspires its first test “strange Paris to him”.

It still spends a few years in the capital (where it attends the surrealist last of Saint-Germain-of-Meadows) before being withdrawn in 1956 in the Luberon. It s interess then with l´histoire of the South of France and the Provence (he obtains in 1988 the literary prize of Provence for the whole of its work on this area).
