Jean-Pascal Rouyer
Jean Pascal Rouyer 1761 - 1819
Naval officer under the Old Mode. He had become prosecutor postulating with the seneshal of Béziers. In 1790, it was elected mayor of this city. In 1792, it was elected appointed with the legislative Assemblée. He was re-elected appointed Convention by the department of the Herault. He took the rank of captain in February 1792 and recalled to the army with the rank of commander of the 3rd regiment of marines, he was with Lyon during the seat and took an active part in the defense of the city against the republicans. Under the Directory
Elected official appointed with the the Council of the Five hundred by the inhabitants of Béziers. It intervened there sometimes for questions concerning the navy. It wished the wallet of Minister for the Navy but was not considered to be worthy by it.
Under the Consulate and the First Empire
After the Coup d'etat of the 18 brumaire year VIII (November 9th 1799), it took its political and military retirement.
