Jean-Michel Stievenard born the October 6th 1945 with Denain (Northern) is a Politician French (PS)
He is doctor of sociology and university lecturer at the University of Lille then at the Institute of political studies of Lille.
He takes part in work of the club Réformer, political think tank animated by Martine Aubry.

- Elected mayor PS of Villeneuve-D' Ascq to the 1st turn of the municipal elections of March 2001.
