Jean-Marie de Poyferré de Cère
Jean Marie de Poyferré, baron de Cère , wire of Poyferré Francois, and Dupeyré Marguerite was born on July 1st, 1768 with Mount-with-Marsan (40) and deceased on January 9th, 1858 with Cère (40). It made its studies with the Royal Academy of Juilly.
He marries Jeanne Marie Sophie d' Abbadie.
Policy
After a short military career like assistant of the officers of the genious, it enters in policy:- Appointed Moors successively under Napoleon, Louis XVIII and Louis Philippe, in 1810,1815,1816 and 1829, it intervened mainly on the economic questions and industrial. President of the Room in 1816.
- Protected from the empress Joséphine, it obtained the title of principal Inspector of the imperial sheep-folds.
- General adviser on February 15th, 1810, he will be president of the general advice with three recoveries.
- Mayor of the commune of Mount-at-Marsan on June 4th, 1817
- Prefect of the Two-Sevres (1817-1822)
- Attached to the Council of State as Master of the requests of 1825 to 1831.
In 1820 it was the object of many attacks in the press because it had asked that the journalists who invaded the corridors of the House of Commons be relegated in the platform which was reserved to them.
During the Hundred Days it kept away from the policy and did not occupy any function.

Legion of honor decreed by Napoleon in 1808.
- Titrated baron by Louis XVIII on February 24th, 1815.
- Price of the Company of encouragement for the improvement of French wools in 1805 for its work on the acclimatization of sheep Merino (It had based a model sheep-fold on its field of Cère).
- Gold medal of the Company of Agriculture of the Moors for its work of improvement of the grounds.
- Médille of gold of the Company of Agriculture of the Seine to have brought back, with the danger of its life, a herd of 1200 Merino during the War of Spanish independence, crossing the provinces in rebellion during the retirement of the French imperial troops.
