Jean-Marie Souriau
Jean-Marie Souriau , born in 1922, is a Mathématicien French. He is mainly known for his work on the symplectic Géométrie of which he was one of the pioneers.
He published many work, of which treaties of relativity and mechanics. He developed the aspects symplectic of traditional mechanics and the quantum Mécanique. Among its most important work, let us quote the first geometrical interpretation of the Spin, the action coadjointe of a group on its space of the moments, the chart of the moments, the prequantification (geometrical quantification), the classification of the homogeneous layers symplectic , or the diffeologic spaces.
