Jean-Marie Ragald

Jean-Marie Ragald is a Chanteur. Perfectionist, ambitious, sympathetic nerve, it cumulates these qualities with an unquestionable talent of autodidact. Impassioned by the music and football, it assiduously practices both and with as much of success.

In spite of an impulsive and nervous side, it is essential like sensitive and pleasant to live.

Simple in its relationship with people, he likes that those which he attends it is also. He appreciates much the female company which inspires it in its work. Hedonist, it likes the life, the dance, the good flesh, to leave between friends and… to amuse the gallery! : O)

It does not support hypocrisy, the false friends, the jealousy, the injustice and the detractors. It practices the low one, the keyboards but it is with the song that it is essential definitively in 2001 with the public success of the year, " Prisca".

Its dream is to make a success of in the music in order to " to give a direction to its private life and to found a famille" …

It begins with the ORIGINAL group as bass player, then with NATURAL, an small group of district assembled with friends of childhood (Lawrence Clais…) of its district of Redoute (Fort-de-France, Martinique).

It evolves/moves a little later with group DOUSSIN' during three years (95/97), very appreciated small group live. In this formation one finds Emile NAROYANIN, Fred JEAN-BAPTISTE, Miguel PAVY, Jean-Pierre BOROMEE…

It joined then group OZON+, always to low, and turns into live with JESSBY & SIMPLE J, the famous female duet of Me DANCEHALL.

It is in 1996 qu ' it decides to be put at the song and to exploit its talent of composer-songwriter. He finds this year of the friends of childhood, Stephan MOREAU, Jean-Pierre BOROMEE, Pascal JOSEPH-ANGELIQUE with whom he starts to work on a concept of quartet zouk, NEEDS. They outline in a few months what will become the final version of 4 COILS (FOR COILS). It is the meeting with Ronald TULLE, which will deal with the reprogramming of the titles, which is the release of the first album. Album FOR COILS, produced by Myzik Planèt, leaves in 1999 and the four friends are trustful, and with reason since " Elle" , the first extract of the album is a success. It is also present on the first album of Emile NAROYANIN as a type-setter (" Sonj'"), arranger & programmer. Unfortunately, a divergence of opinion puts an end prematurely to this promising group which was FOR COILS.

One finds Jean-Marie and Pascal in duet with a new concept in 2000, PIENJI, which announces already the change of style which takes place as a Jean-Marie, who becomes more " tendance" and more commercial. PIENJI obtains a success of regard. In parallel, the young man is contacted by Déclic Martinique for a young concept and sympathetic nerve, TEMPO ZOUK, and it joins his friend Christiane VALEJO, to write " Gabrielle" on TEMPO ZOUK and " Envi ba' w" , that he will sing on PIENJI. He types this year in the eye of Emmanuel GRANIER which entrusts the realization and the responsibility to write to him the titles of the album of the CHALLENGER' S Cédric VERNON & Jenny ANELKA, victorious of Contest JM 2000.

In 2001, he is contacted by FOLLOWING Guy & Alain AJAX of ZoukPlay Production for UNITED ZOUK. He writes, composes and arranges three titles, of which " So much fou" , a title of Jean-Pierre ANGEON and " Fantasm'" , a title of Emile NAROYANIN. But it proves that the title " Prisca" , how he wrote & composed for him, becomes a méga-tube! Solicited of any share, it turns in all Martinique and arrives even at the Zenith of Paris, invited by Médiatropical for Médiazouk Party. An undeniable success which perdure so far.

2002, finally the exit of the first album solo. The title " Mary" is the first extract of " Forever". After having hard-bound with " All nuits" , its public discovers " Fow biswen" , a duet with Snake Tong.

2003, it still matures and makes the first part of Patrick St-Eloi on February 14th for his concert of St-Valentine in Mque. 2004, it registers two news on the compilation of Pastel Prod 200% Zouk, 100% Tubes of which " With Toi" who receives a reception very sympathetic nerve on behalf of his public. In 2005, it decides to prepare its second album solo, " Tears of my âme" whose exit in August 2005 coincides with its birthday, on August 10th. The first individual " Lannuit" is a tube as of its exit.

2007: it is harnessed with the task, changes producer and is surrounded composer-songwriters of talent: Princess To coil, Master MX, Jean-Philippe Marthély, Christiane Valejo, Guy Vadeleux, Christian Louiset for the event zouk of the holidays 2007…
