Jean-Marie Guyau
Jean-Marie Guyau , born in 1854 with Laval and died in 1888, is a Philosophe and Poète French.
Biography
Jean-Marie Guyau is the son of Augustine Tuillerie, which published the Tour de France by two children in 1877 and was remariée with the philosopher Alfred Fouillée.Impassioned by poetry and philosophy, it reads all the large texts with a preference for Hugo, Corneille, Musset, Épictète, Plato, and Kant. Bachelor of arts at 17 years, it translates the Handbook Épictète. He is conquered by the Stoïcisme which inspires its resistance smiling to the Phtisie which was to carry it at 33 years. He was teaching with the Lycée Condorcet, he wrote teaching works and, following the first attacks of his disease, goes in the South, where he writes many philosophical works and poetries.
Its major work, Draft of a morals without obligation nor sanction , deeply innovative, seems much to have impressed (and undoubtedly influenced) Nietzsche which annotated it in margin by positive exclamations.
His wife published, under the pseudonym of Pierre Ulric, of Romance briefs for youth. He is the father of the philosopher Augustin Guyau
