Jean-Marc Reiser known as Reiser , which signed at its beginnings Jean-Marc Roussillon , is a scenario writer and draftsman of Cartoon, born with Réhon (Meurthe-et-Moselle) the April 13rd 1941 and deceased in Paris the November 5th 1983 of the continuations of a cancer of the bones.

Biography

After having begun in the life as deliveryman at the cavist Nicolas during four years, Reiser begins in 1958 a career of draftsman while publishing in various minor reviews, such as Blagues (pseudo JIEM ) and the Gazette of Nectar (pseudo J-M Roussillon - newspaper internal at the Nicolas house). In 1960, it founds with the draftsman Fred and Cavanna, which it met at the seventeen years age, the monthly magazine Hara-Kiri which will become one of the florets of the culture underground of the years 1970. In 1966, it enters to the newspaper Pilote where it collaborates with quantity of authors of talent: Gotlib, Alexis, Wall, Mandryka, Cabu, etc After the prohibition of Hebdo Hara-kiri in 1970, because of the disrespectful advertisement of the death of the general de Gaulle (the famous one: tragic Ball in Colombey: a death ), it collaborates naturally as of the first number in Charlie Hebdo which succeeds to him. Throughout its career, Reiser also published in the Open Mouth (it is interested of close with ecology), data base , Charlie Mensuel , Métal howling , the Echo of Savannas .

Its work is considerable. His characters will be retained: Large Disgusting person, Jeanine… His drawings were gathered in many collections: They are ugly , the Oboulot Family at the holidays , the red Ears , the Life with the great outdoors , Vive the women , etc the series of the Sales Jokes published in the Echo of Savannas , continued by Vuillemin, continuous to attract a great number of readers.

Its humor, very believed for the time, and often of a bad assumed taste.

“It went to the cemetery to foot” (it is buried with the Cimetière of Montparnasse), to take again the title of the special issue of Hara-kiri to its death which took again one of its drawings, realized initially for Franco. At the time of her burial, the team of Hara-Kiri had deposited a sheaf on which one could read: " On behalf of Hara Kiri, on sale partout".
