Jean-Luc Nancy

Jean-Luc Nancy (born in 1940 with Bordeaux) is a Philosophe French.

It will be marked by the work of Jacques Derrida, of which he was the pupil, and will become the friend. Tried by the Theology, its meeting of Derrida, its readings of Althusser, Deleuze, Heidegger, Blanchot, Hölderlin, lead it to think a split up, irreducible world with the modern systematicity. One can arrange it among the post-modern thinkers . In 1968, professor of philosophy to the University of Strasbourg (it will teach there until 2004), it becomes acquainted with Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe with which it writes several books, of which literary absolute . He is member of the National council of the universities, section philosophy. In addition, he is member of the leading council of Space Maurice Blanchot.
