Jean-Louis Triaud
Jean-Louis Triaud is president of the football club of Of Gironde of Bordeaux (Ligue 1), since 1996.
It decides in 1999 after the championship of France that M6 is the best transferee for the club. This choice remains still very discussed by those which judge that this majority shareholder does not carry enough of economic interest and sportsman to the club. These attacks, he answers that he is not satisfied either by the results of the club. He added that it missed players of experiment.
The policy of Jean-Louis Triaud since 2003 is to make confidence with the young people of the training center from where many talents left, such as Chamakh, Mavuba or Planus… Its opponents say that these young talents need to be framed by more experienced players.
End 2005, it thus requires of its shareholder an financial allocation making it possible to buy its players of experiment, which shows remaniment according to: Chamakh is untransferable, Pavon which had health issues is replaced by Ricardo, Smicer is committed (free player at the end of the contract), Bruno Cheyrou is committed (player lent by Liverpool FC with option to buy), Rool will be left free, Kapsis also, Meriem sold in lower part of its commercial value according to criticisms, idem for Riera…
Jean-Louis Triaud, son-in-law of Henri Martin, is also the manager of the Château Gloria with Saint-Julien-Beychevelle.
