Jean-Louis Georgelin

Jean-Louis Georgelin , born the August 30th 1948 with Aspet, is a Officier Général French which exerts the function of “Chief of staff of the armies” since his nomination the August 30th 2006.

Biography

Jean-Louis Georgelin is a former student of the military special École of Saint-Cyr military school.

Lieutenant and section head to the school of application of the infantry in 1975/1976, in charge of the training of the pupils warrant officers (promotion Grisoni sergeant), Jean-Louis Georgelin was then named captain, commander of unit, with the 153 {{E}} Régiment of Infantry of Mutzig of 1976 with 1979.
