Jean-Louis Capezzali
Jean-Louis Capezzali is a hautboïste French.
Biography
Born with Saint-Etienne, Jean-Louis Capezzali begins the training from the music at the 9 years age with the piano and discovers the Hautbois at 14 years, by listening to a recording of the concerti of Vivaldi interpreted by Pierre Pierlot.
After one year of course to the Schola Cantorum of Paris, it enters in " classes with arranged schedules musique" (CHAM) with CNR of Versailles where he studies the oboe with Gaston Longatte. It gains the gold medal and the price of honor then obtains the training certificate (CA) of professor of oboe.
In 1979 it is named, at the twenty years age, first oboe solo of the Concerts Lamoureux. In 1984, it is received oboe supersolist with the Philharmonic orchestra of Radio France. He is also prize winner of the international Contests of Geneva (1982) and of Prague (1986).
In 1988, after having ensured the station of assistant in the class of Maurice Bourgue CNSM of Paris, it replaces it in the capacity as full professor at the time of his departure for the Conservatoire of Geneva. Since 1998, he teaches with CNSM of Lyon where he is also in charge of the teaching responsibility for the department for the wood. He ensures annually of the sessions of improvement in practice instrumental and in Chamber music the École Britten, higher institute of music of Périgueux, and forms the future generation of hautboïstes in the international academies like that of Telč as a Czech Republic, Musicalp with Courchevel, or of the Festival Pablo-Casals of Prades.
He carries out, parallel to these activities, a career of chambrist and soloist which leads it to occur with the greatest formations: National orchestra Bordeaux Aquitaine, Together orchestral of Paris, Chamber orchestra of Toulouse,… It is regularly invited to give concerts and classes of Master in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Scandinavia, Russia, Germany, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, the United States, where it represents the French school of the winds.
Tester at Dresser Cramp since 1992, it also contributes to the development of the oboe. He plays the oboes Green-Line.
