Jean-Joseph Patu de Rosemont
Born in 1767 and died the July 11th 1818, Jean-Joseph Patu de Rosemont is a painter and adventurer French. He is the son of Antoine-Henry Patu of the Top-Fields, rider, adviser of the king, listener to the room of the Accounts of Paris.
Towards the twenty years age, it embarks as auxiliary officer in the Royale navy, but its ship makes shipwreck in 1788 close to the island Bourbon. He marries in 1790 Jeanne Tarsile Bregeault, mongrel a bourbonnaise. The following year, it takes part in a forwarding carried out by Alexis Bert to the Piton of the Furnace, the active Volcan of the island. It explores the top of it the July 29th.
