Jean-François de Chamillart
Jean-François de Chamillart (1657 with Paris - April 15th 1714 in Paris) is a French man of the church, bishop of Dol and Senlis.

Doctor of Divinity of the Sorbonne.
- Abbot of the Abbey Notre-Dame de Fontgombault, and of Balsam-the-Sirs.
- Brother of the General inspector of finances, Michel de Chamillart, he is count and bishop of Fraud of 1692 with 1702, then bishop of Senlis of 1702 to 1714. First chaplain of Marie-Adelaide of Savoy (1685-1712), duchess of Burgundy, it is elected member of the French Academy, on January 5th, 1702, to replace François Charpentier and is received on September 7th, 1702 by the Welsh abbot. His/her nieces, to have fun with its costs, witness its reception. They are placed in a platform, and to this day the admission goes back from the ladies to the public meetings of the Academy. The bishop of Senlis seldom goes to the French Academy.
There remains of him very few memories. D' Alembert more estimable judge the “by his probity than it was not happy in its administration” all while being astonished by the number of prelates accommodated with the Academy “which must be primarily a company of men of letters” and “does not have to end up being a council. ”
