Jean-François Ducos , born with Bordeaux the October 26th 1765, carried out in Paris the 10 Brumaire year II (October 31st 1793), was a deputy of the Convention.

Wire of a trader of Bordeaux, it is sent to Nantes to learn the trade, but is interested more in the policy and philosophy. It takes part in various circles, which is worth a reputation of patriot to him, and allows him to be elected like deputy of the the Gironde to the Législative, then with the Convention. He will hold of marked the enough positions, as well in the businesses of the king Louis XVI as for the question of the refractory priests. He was virulent against Fayette. Sitting among the Of Gironde, it will however tend to support the opinions of the Montagnards. By protection of Marat, he escapes a purging the June 2nd 1793, but is suspected following his protests against summary arrests and disappearances. He is mentioned in the report/ratio Amar October 3rd 1793 and is condemned to dead the 9 brumaire year II, for finally being carried out the 10 (with the other Of Gironde ones, of which his/her friend and brother-in-law Jean-Baptiste Boyer-Fonfrède).
