Jean-François Bernard (journalist)

Jean-François Bernard was born on November 12th, 1966 with Beirut (Lebanon). Journalist, it was illustrated by polemical articles at the end of years 1980 before directing agencies of communication. After having left the world of the media, it is devoted in particular to the psychoanalysis since 2006.

Biography

Collected with the birth on November 12th, 1966 in Beirut (Lebanon), by the Sisters of the Saint-Vincent crib of the hotel God located in the district of Achrafieh, Elie was adopted at the six months age by his/her French parents who baptize it Jean-François. Raised in Issy-les-Moulineaux (92), then in Yvelines, J.F. Bernard is father of two children Paul (1999) and Marianne (2006).

Press

At sixteen years, it starts a career in the local press and regional. In 1986, it realizes for the daily newspaper Paris-Normandy, an interview of President François Mitterrand on Jansénisme. In 1986, into twenty years, it integrates the drafting of the weekly magazine Gai Foot. it will be illustrated there while realizing, for the first time, in a regular way, in the French gay press, of the interviews of political personalities among which the former minister François Léotard or the former Prime Minister Laurent Fabius. But it especially succeeds in convincing the bishop of Evreux, Mgr Jacques Gaillot, to publish a text which will create an immense scandal at the time (1988) since it affirms there, inter alia, that " the homosexual ones will precede us with the Kingdom by Dieu". Located by the monthly magazine Earth, Jean-François Bernard is solicited to endorse the role of a false emissary of the Iranian government, directed by the Ayatollah Khomeyni. It is charged to recruit personalities of the political world and cultural French and to entrust a mission remunerated to them to regild the blazon of Iran placed at the round of applause of the nations after the fatwa launched against the writer Salmann Ruschdie.Plusieurs personalities will be thus trapped among whom the advertizing executive Thierry Saussez who will be caught some then violently in Jean-François Bernard in his work " we are here by the will of the médias" (Robert Laffont, 1990, the musician Cerrone, the writer Jean-Edern Hallier or the philosopher Roger Garaudy whose critical biographers report the business in " Roger Garaudy, history of a négation" (Calmann Levy, 2007). The article, published in May 1989, will meet an international repercussion.

Political communication

Not wishing to continue in the register of journalistic imposture, Jean-François Bernard created in 1991 the agency of institutional communication, Nouveaux Territories, and collaborated with various French political personalities among which Yvette Roudy, old Minister for the Women's rights (1981-1986) and deputy-mayor of Lisieux (1989-2001) or Alain Vivien secretary of foreign affairs (1992). From 2001, it directed the co-operative agency Idéoscope, specialized in the communication of the structures of the social economy (mutual, associations, co-operatives, foundations…). Since 2006, it left the world of the media to devote itself to the Psychanalyse.
