Jean-Felix Lalanne is a French guitarist, born the September 8th 1962 with Nice from mother Uruguay enne and French father (Basque). He is the brother of Francis Lalanne and Rene Manzor.
He gives his first concerts to the 12 years age and its first concert with Marcel Dadi to 13 years. In 14 years, it takes part in an album recorded in public with the elite of the soloists of the Academy of guitar of Marseilles. At 16 years, it obtains the license in concert of traditional guitar. At 17 years, it records its first album in solo in which it transcribes the Night ones, Valses, and Polish of Chopin for the guitar.
Parallel to its career of guitarist, he becomes arranger and producer. Impassioned by the orchestration, it composes in 20 years its first symphony for the Festival of guitar of Liege, the Romantic Symphony , played by the Philharmonic orchestra of RTBF. It will compose several other symphonic concertos and parts of which some were played in various festivals in Europe and with the the United States. Nominated with the Victories of the Music for the original soundtrack of the film the Passage with Alain Delon, he is the author of several other film musics like 3615 code Father Christmas , Warrior Spirit , a love of witch and all lately Dédales of Rene Manzor, music for which he was also nominated with the Victories of the Music, in 2004.
Since 1979, Jean-Felix Lalanne recorded 23 albums and product of many songbooks and vidéos. It leaves at the beginning of 2002 three new albums, an album in duet with the guitarist Yan Vagh, “Ways Secret”, at Acoustic Records; an album out of guitar solo “Yohnamour” and an album “Around the Guitar” Vol.1 at Polydor for which many other guitarists and artists singers answered his invitation. The year 2004 marks the dedication of the evenings “Around the guitar” since after the four spectacles given to closed counter with the Olympia and the Sport hall, a unit CD + DVD of the two albums studios and concerts collected in Olympia leave to Polydor.
A at the end of 2004 DVD in the concert of 1988 given to Olympia in duet with Marcel Dadi appears at Polydor.
With the end of the year 2005, Jean-Felix Lalanne records his very new orchestral part, the astral symphony ; a work of 75mn including/understanding 12 movements, each one illustrating a sign of the zodiac. This part is a symphonic poem concerting based on triangular of soloist, grips, piano, guitar evolving/moving inside an orchestral mass of 45 musicians. After four concerts with closed counter for the new edition of ADLG in February 2006, Jean-Felix Lalanne returns directly in studio for the recording of Ensemble , an album with the guitarist Michel Haumont.
