Jean-Dominique Van Caulaert

Jean-Dominique Van Caulaert (1897-1979) is a painter, poster artist, illustrator and decorator French. It composes its first Affiche in Belgium in 1916.

In the years 1930 it carries out many posters for Mistinguett, Marie Dubas, Joséphine Baker, Cécile Sorel, Suzy Solidor, Lys Gauty and Tino Rossi.

Potraitist of talent, it paints all-Paris until the years 1950. He leaves for the United States in 1951 and works 8 months per annum to New York and 4 in Paris, until his death, to the Villa of Arts with Montmartre. He had been made knight of the Légion of honor.
