Jean-David Levitte
Jean-David Levitte , born the June 14th 1946 with Moissac, is a diplomat French. Former ambassador of France to Washington, it is since the May 16th 2007, diplomatic adviser and sherpa of the president of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy.
Biography
Jean-David Levitte was born foreign Juifs parents the June 14th 1946 with Moissac. His/her father was of Ukrainian origin and his mother, born with the Mozambique, of origin Dutchwoman. Jean-David Levitte is married and father of two girls.Holder of a License in right, it is graduate Institut of political studies of Paris and National institute of the languages and civilizations Eastern in Chinese and Indonésien. He was permanent representative of France at the United Nations with Geneva before being an diplomatic adviser and sherpa of the President of the Republic Jacques Chirac of 1995 with 2000. Permanent representative of France at the United Nations with New York then Ambassador of France to the the United States of America since 2002, it is one of the actors of the warming of the relations between Jacques Chirac and George W. Bush after their opposition on the Guerre in Iraq in 2003.
In the diplomatic jargon, it is called “Diplomator”, because of its qualities of diplomat.
The May 16th 2007, the president of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy makes of him her sherpa and diplomatic adviser in the Elysium. It also takes the direction of the new national council of safety, created by the President of the Republic, on the model of that existing in the United States.
