Jean-Claude Pressac
Jean-Claude Pressac (born in 1944 - died on July 23rd, 2003) was a French chemist and pharmacist.
Pressac initially adhered to the theses revisionists and negationnists and started a scientific work with the objective to refute the historical conclusions on the Holocauste. During several Pressac decades is in-depth interested party with the installations of extermination of the Concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau. It on the spot supplemented its expertises while resorting to an abundance of documents recovered of the time of national-socialisme, in particular of the correspondences, plans of construction, estimates and reports of talks.
At that time Pressac concluded that, contrary to its ideas of origin, the holocaust had taken place well. It published its conclusions in its book Auschwitz. Technique and operation off the gas chambers in 1989. Pressac refuted not only the theses negationnists but provides beyond also invaluable information on the techniques and the organization of the genocide by the Nazis. In its book the Crematory ones of Auschwitz. The machinery of the murder of mass appeared in 1993, Pressac made public the operation of crematory of Auschwitz and showed the implication of certain German companies in the final solution orchestrated by the Nazis, in particular the firms Topf und Söhne and Kori, principal manufacturers of the crematoriums.
