Jean-Claude Malgoire is a Hautboïste, musicologist and Leader French born in 1940 with Avignon.
Biography
Jean-Claude Malgoire begins his musical studies with the academy from his birthplace. He enters then to the Conservatoire of Paris where he obtains a first price of Hautbois and of Chamber music. He then starts a brilliant career of instrumentalist. His/her daughter Florence Malgoire continues the family tradition as a violinist baroque.
In 1966, it bases with a group of friends the Large Stable and the Room of Roy, one of the first whole of music specialized in the interpretation of the repertory baroque on instruments of time.
It receives in 1968 the first price of the international Concours of Geneva. In 1972, he becomes soloist of the Ensemble 2e2m. It is located by Charles Münch which names then it Cor anglais soloist of the Orchestre of Paris.
In addition to its activity of leader with the Large Stable and the Room of Roy, he plays in large symphony orchestras under the direction, inter alia Seiji Ozawa and of Herbert von Karajan.
Since 1975, it records many operas of which many the first world ones ( Rinaldo of Haendel; Alceste of Lully…). In 1992 it receives a Victoire of the music for her Montezuma of Vivaldi.
