Jean-Claude Dunyach

Jean-Claude Dunyach (born with Toulouse in 1957) is a French author of Science-fiction.

Biographical note

Jean-Claude Dunyach was born the July 17th 1957 with Toulouse in France. After having obtained a doctorate in mathematics applied to the supercomputers, it was engaged by the company Airbus in Toulouse.

He writes accounts of science fiction since the beginning of the Eighties, publishing seven novels and seven collections of news. Jean-Claude Dunyach also writes words for several French singers, which inspired one of its novels to him whose hero is a singer of rock' N roll which travels to the Antarctic accompanied by an philharmonic orchestra of zombies…

Its news Déchiffrer the Screen obtained the Grand Prix of Imaginary the and the Prix Rosny elder in 1998, and its translation in English language was declared better account of the year by the readers of the Interzone English magazine following a vote of the readers.

Its novel Dying Stars writes in collaboration with Ayerdhal, obtained the Grand Prix of the Tower Eiffel 1999 as well as the Price Ozone 2000.

Works of Dunyach were translated into English, Bulgarian, Croatian, Danish, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
