Jean-Claude Carrière is a writer, Scénariste, Parolier, Director, occasionally Acteur, French born the September 17th 1931 with Colombières-on-Orb in the Herault.

Biography

After studies of history which it gives up quickly (he is former student of the National university of Saint-Cloud), he publishes its first novel Lézard in 1957. He collaborates then with Luis Buñuel, then André Barsacq, Jean-Louis Barrault and Peter Brook.

Jean-Claude Carrière very often worked with adaptations, as well for the theater as the cinema or television, meeting very frequently a critical and public success.
