Jean-Claude Camus (born the October 28th 1938 with Bernay in the the Eure in Normandy) is an important producer of spectacles and director of the Théâtre of the Door Saint Martin's day.

Biography

Completely self-educated, working mainly with his Annette sister, it created or produced many musical comedies such as: “The bag out of paperboard”, “the legend of Jimmy”, Starmania, “Peter Pan”, “thousand and one life of Ali Baba”, “Mesdames Attention and Sirs”… as well as shows or plays with Mimie Mathy, Annie Girardot, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Line Renaud, Patrick Timsit, Richard Berry Claude Brasseur…

He is or was the producer many French-speaking artists such as the Wildcats, Sheila, Sylvie Vartan, Patrick Bruel, Catherine Lara, France Gall, Pierre Bachelet, Roch Voisine, Michel Fugain, Lara Fabian, Florent Pagny, Patrick Fiori, Jean-Michel Jarre, Frederic Lerner, Thomas Fersen, Chimène Badi or Barbara with the Pavillon of Paris and the Zenith for “Lili passion” with Gerard Depardieu, but heoccupy in particular of Johnny Hallyday for which it coproduit its spectacles since 1976 and Michel Sardou since 1979.

It also organized and coproduit with Pascal Bernardin and Gilbert Coullier of many spectacles of foreign artists in France, such as Bob Marley (concert with the Le Bourget in 1980), Prince (Zenith of Paris 1984) or Madonna (concert with the Parc of Seals in 1987) Michael Jackson (Parc of the Princes 1988), the Rolling Stones (Park of the Princes 1990).

Since 2001, he is the director of the Théâtre of the Door Saint Martin's day to Paris, which accommodated the parts They loved itself with Michele Laroque and Pierre Palmade, first part presented under his direction, “the Man in Question” with Michel Sardou and Brigitte Fossey, “Senator Fox” with Pierre Mondy, “Feydeau it is insane” with Valerie Mairesse and François Morel, “Coils! Since 2005, many artists joined his roster, such Anggun, Christophe Maé, Tina Arena, Christophe Willem, Roland Magdane, Emmanuel Moire, Mauss, Julie d' Aimé, Georges-Alain Jones.

He holds his own role in the film Jean-Philippe of Laurent Tuel.

In 2007, it organizes and produces the concert of the July 14th on the Champ de Mars (Paris).
