Jean-Baptiste Pierre Boudet . Born with Rheims the October 26th 1748, died with Paris the December 18th 1828, Pharmacist French chemist.

He was named in 1793 inspector of area of the East for the extraction of the Salpêtre and the manufacture of the powder. In 1798, the Directoire entrusted to him the functions of pharmacist as a chief of the armed with the East. Member of the Institute of France, Boudet made the campaigns of the Empire in Egypt and Germany as a pharmacist of the armies. He was allowed with the retirement on June 8th 1810 and withdrew himself with Paris. He is one of the founders of the Company of Pharmacy and one of the writers of the pharmaceutical Code .

He died with the title of pharmacist as a chief of Charity. Its nephew is Jean-Pierre Boudet, also Pharmacien. Boudet rests with the Père Lachaise where its monument was given in state, in 2003, by the Souvenir French.
