Jean-Baptiste Millière

Jean-Baptiste Millière (1817 - 1871) is a lawyer, Journaliste and Député of the the Seine. It took part in the Commune of Paris (1871).

During the resumption of Paris by the Of Versailles ones, in spite of its parliamentary statute, he will be shot, with knees on the steps of the the Pantheon, the May 26th 1871. Its last words were “Sharp humanity! ”.
