Jean-Baptiste Marino
Jean-Baptiste Marino , born with Seals in 1767 and dead guillotine with Paris on June 19th 1794, is a personality of the French revolution.
Wire of a gardener " potager" of the count of Have. Marino had painted and sold for ten years its porcelains in the galleries of the Palais Royal. With the Revolution, he becomes speaker in the revolutionary clubs.
Member of the Common of Paris after the Day of August 10th, 1792, it was named administrator of police force. Lyon, it chairs the extraordinary commission charged to judge the federalists and uses his position to obtain the favors of beautiful suspect, learning it Jean-Marie Collot d' Herbois returns it and, consequently, Jean-Baptiste Marino dedicates a savage hatred and a resentment to him.
In Paris, it is in charge of the police force of the prisons and of the monitoring of the public morality, it makes use of this position to obtain silver advantages like in kind. Following the denunciation of the deputy Pons de Verdun, the 9 germinal Year II (March 29th 1793), it is relieved, on the following charges: complicity in the escape bid from Marie-Antoinette of Austria (Plot of the Eyelet) (from August 2nd to 3rd 1793) and for its complicity with Henri Admirat in the attempted murder of Jean-Marie Collot d' Herbois 3 meadow Year II (May 22nd 1794).
Condemned like parricide for attack on one of the members of the Convention, it was guillotine vĂȘtu of a red shirt.
