Jean-Baptiste Leroux
Jean-Baptiste Leroux is a Architecte French born towards 1677 and died in 1746.
Biography
Raise François d' Orbay. Member of the royal Academy of architecture in 1720, it was with the head of one of the most important cabinets of architecture of Paris, specialized in the private mansions and “upper middle classes or country cottages” for an aristocratic rich person customers. He generally worked with the famous ornementist Nicolas Pineau.

- Houses of Anne Pinon, Street Saint-Anthony and street Culture-Holy-Catherine.
- Hotel of Avaray, 85 Street of Grenelle, 1720.
- Middle-class Hotel of Boynes (known as also of Mondragon ), 3 Street of Antin, 1725-1729.
- Gallery of the hotel of Villars, 116 Street of Grenelle, 1730-1732 (destroyed): According to A. of Champeaux: “The Russet-red one had been charged to lay out a long of soixante-douze feet and high gallery with twenty-four extending on the garden. It was its most important work and the gallery passed to be most beautiful of Paris”.
