Jean-Baptiste Biaggi
Jean-Baptiste Biaggi (Jean-Baptiste, Albert Biaggi) was born the August 27th 1918 with Cagnano (Corsica), honorary lawyer, former deputy of Paris, former Corsica regional adviser of , former mayor of Cagnano (Corsica), Commandeur of the Légion of honor, Military Cross 1939-1945, medal of the Résistance, had a course Nationaliste militant with the French Action.
Biography
Initially militant with the French Action when it was student with the Faculty of Law to Paris (it was then close to Jacques Maurras, wire adoptive of Charles Maurras), Jean-Baptiste Biaggi engages and becomes Résistant first hour in June 1940, with Alain Griotteray, successor of Henri d' Astier. He founds the information and resistance network Orion, network which starting from 1943 will devote to the escapes by the Spain from French. The December 13rd 1943, it is stopped by the Gestapo on denunciation, will be locked up and tortured with the Prison of Fresnes, until February 1944. During a transfer, he escapes in March 1944 to take part with the troops allied in the Libération of Paris and the countryside of Germany. Ordering 4°Commando of France it fights with Belfort and in Alsace where it will be wounded.- * In 1947 it engages in the rows Gaulliste S with the RPF, and ambitionne a lawyer career.
- * In 1956 it founds the volunteers for the French Union , group Nationaliste and virulent anticommunist.
- * In 1957 Jean-Baptiste Biaggi takes part with Alexandre Sanguinetti in the creation of the Parti Patriotic Revolutionist (PR), left who adopts the gaullism.
- * In 1958 it is elected appointed (UNR) and resigns in 1960 in opposition to the position of De Gaulle on Algerian self-determination.
- * the September 19th 1958, Jean-Baptiste Biaggi is combined with Georges Bidault, Roger Duchet and Pascal Arrighi to create the Rassemblement for French Algeria (RAF).
- * In 1956 it founds the volunteers for the French Union , group Nationaliste and virulent anticommunist.
In 2003, it is made Commandeur of the Legion of Honor of the hands of Michele Alliot-Marie.
