Jean-Baptiste Barrier
Jean-Baptiste Barrière is a Compositeur and multi-media artist born with Paris on January 2nd, 1958.
It made studies of music, philosophy, history of art, and mathematical logic (Doctorate of philosophy of the University of Paris I - Pantheon-Sorbonne).
Parallèlement to the composition, it led a career to the Ircam where he initially was researcher starting from 1981, within the framework of the projects Chant (synthesis of the voice sung by computer) and Formes (control of the synthesis and composition with computer), then of 1984 with 1987, he directed the Music research, and starting from 1989, Pedagogy, and of 1993 1997, Creation.
