Jean-Baptist-Jacques Poultier , born on March 25th 1731 with Montreuil-sur-Mer, dead on February 22nd 1803 in Montreuil-sur-Mer, is appointed with the General states of 1789.

Wire of Jacques Poultier, notary and prosecutor in Montreuil-sur-Mer, and of Bore-Francoise Lavergue, it is to advise of the king under the Ancien Mode and general lieutenant with the bailliage of Montreuil of 1760 to 1789. In this quality, it chairs the general meeting of the three orders, in the church of the Carmes of Montreuil, on March 16th, 1789, for the drafting of the Registers of grievances, and the assembly of the third-state.

Elected official éputé of the third of the bailliage of Montreuil to the General states on March 23rd, it signs the Serment of the Play of palm and votes with the majority.

After the session, he becomes mayor of Montreuil (October 1792), then assessor of the Justice of the Peace, member of the general advice of the Commune and judge of the civil court of Montreuil the 3 Pluviôse year X (January 23rd, 1802) to replace his brother. He dies one year afterwards.
