Jean-Arnold de Clermont is French Pasteur. He is president of the Council of the Protestant federation of France, elected on July 1st, 1999 and re-elected on March 22nd, 2003. Its mandate finished on June 30th, 2007. Claude Baty succeeds to him.

In 1967, Jean-Arnold de Clermont becomes Pasteur of the Church reformed of France (ERF).
It leaves to Bangui (Central African Republic) to the service the Protestant Église the Christ-King for four years. Engaged in the sector youth, it creates there the Center protesting for the Youth of Bangui. In parallel, the World Council of Churches (COE) the operations manager near the Sudaneses taken refuge in Central African Republic.
On its return in France in 1972, it occupies the post of secretary to animation with the Service protesting of Mission - Défap, and this until 1978.

Jean Arnold de Clermont is the small son of Jacques Guerlain, directing company of perfumery Guerlain during many years which married Andrée Bouffet (1884-1965), girl of the prefect Gabriel Bouffet.
