Jean-Arnold de Clermont is French Pasteur. He is president of the Council of the Protestant federation of France, elected on July 1st, 1999 and re-elected on March 22nd, 2003. Its mandate finished on June 30th, 2007. Claude Baty succeeds to him.

In 1967, Jean-Arnold de Clermont becomes Pasteur of the Church reformed of France (ERF).

It leaves to Bangui (Central African Republic) to the service the Protestant Église the Christ-King for four years.   • the March 20th 1999, it is elected president of the Council of the FPF of which he is member since 1984. Ninth president of the Protestant federation of France, Pasteur Jean-Arnold de Clermont took his functions on July 1st 1999. He will finish its 2nd 4 years mandate the June 30th 2007.

He is member of the committee of sponsorship of the French Coordination for the Decade of the culture of peace and non-violence.

Family

Jean Arnold de Clermont is the small son of Jacques Guerlain, directing company of perfumery Guerlain during many years which married Andrée Bouffet (1884-1965), girl of the prefect Gabriel Bouffet.
