Jean-Antoine Laurent is a French painter born with Baccarat in 1763 and died in Épinal in 1832. He was very appreciated as a painter of kind under the Empire. He takes as a starting point the Dutch Masters of the 17th century. He was preserving museum of Épinal of 1822 to his death.
