Jbel Sirwa

Hyphen between the High-Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, the Jbel of Sirwa or Siroua , is a top and very vast dismantled volcano from where emergent singularly of the Dyke S and bases of black lava.

It culminates to 3305 m, which is worth fugitive appearances of snow to him.

Population

Located at the south of the massive of Toubkal , the Jbel Siroua (3305 m) is an old volcanic solid mass, or follow one another of the Kasbah S, Douar S and ground villages with their strengthened collective attics called Igoudar S (attic-citadels), symbols of a very strong tradition.

With the foot of these villages, in the fields irrigated by the torrents, the barley, the corn and the saffron push, as well as the almond trees. The women weave very beautiful carpets and with the Souk Taznaght sell them.

Tourism

It is the country of the hiking or equestrian, through fantastic landscapes where are opposed a lapidified and deserted world, and deep worked valleys. Beautiful climbings can be undertaken on the pitons of Basalte which roughcast the landscape.
