Jazz in Franche-Comté

Jazz in Franche-Comté is a festival of Jazz and impromptu Musique created in 1981 which is held in area Franche-Comté (France) during second about fifteen June.

Presentation

History

Created in 1981 by impassioned jazz, the festival proposed with the departure programming integrating all the alternatives of the jazz (New Orleans, Bebop…) before taking a more experimental turn in 1993. The first edition took place in 1982.

The site

The Jazz festival in Franche-Comté proceeds in several cities through the four departments of the area Franche-Comté. In 2006, Besancon, Pontarlier, Morteau, Vesoul and Poligny thus accommodated concerts.
