Jazz-funk
The jazz-funk is a musical style appeared with the the United States in the Années 1970, in general purely instrumental, mixing the structure of the pieces of Jazz (topic, succession of solos, topic), with the syncopated rates/rhythms and the instrumentation of the Funk (coppers, electric Piano, Orgue Hammond, Synthétiseur, electric Basse, sometimes Electric guitar).
The artists having worked this style are inter alia Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Billy Cobham, Donald Byrd, Idris Muhammad, Deodato, Joe Thomas, Ramsey Lewis, Maceo Parker.
