Jaya Krishna Cuttaree
Born the June 22nd 1941, the doctor Jaya Krishna Cuttaree was Foreign Minister of the République of Maurice of the December 23rd 2003 with the July 5th 2005 and is member of the Parliament Mauritian since 1982.
Descendant of Indian immigrants , it studied with the the United Kingdom and in Sweden then worked in the agricultural sector and that of the natural resources for national organizations and international before entering in policy.
He is trade and Minister of Industry of September 2000 at December 2003. In 2005, it presents its candidature for the general position of director of the World Trade organization as a candidate of the African Union. It will appear the third best candidate of an election which will see the victory of Pascal Lamy.
It loses its post of Foreign Minister with the defeat of his party the MM with the legislative elections the same year.
