Jaya Bachchan

Jaya Bachchan (born Jaya Bhaduri the April 9th 1948 with Kolkata, India), is an Indian actress of Bollywood. She was a notable success during the the Seventies and more recently with the films Fiza , the Indian Family and New York masala . She is married with the actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Career

Jaya Bhaduri is the girl of Indira and Taroon KUMAR Bhaduri, author, journalist and artist of scene. It begins its career of actress at 15 years with a small role in a Bengali film of Satyajit Ray, the Big city ( Mahanagar ). It is registered at the Institute of Film and Television. It obtains the first success thanks to the film Guddi where it holds the role of a schoolgirl who dedicates an immense passion with the actor Dharmendra. Jaya Bhaduri becomes Jaya Bachchan the June 3rd 1973 when she marries Amitabh Bachchan. It continues its career until in 1981 before being withdrawn to devote itself to her two children, Shweta and Abhishek.

Jaya Bachchan makes its return to the cinema later 18 years with Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa , but it is especially its interpretation in Fiza (2000) at the sides of Karisma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan which holds the attention. It also occupies of the leading roles in two spectaculars diffused universally, the Indian Family (2001) and New York masala (2003).
