Javier Delgado

Javier Delgado is a professional footballer Spanish. He was born the May 20th 1980 with Sion. He measures 180 cm and weighs 77 kg. He plays station of side left, central defender or left medium. Biography

Formed in the juniors of the FC Bramois of 1986 with 1991, it integrates the movement junior of the Football Club of Sion in January 1992.
In 1996, it belongs to the first stolen one of young person who integrates the " Center of Amandiers" , training center of the Football Club of Sion. Since its arrived as a junior, Javi Delgado climbed all the levels to join the first team of the Football Club of Sion in 1997.
During its first season with the first team of the Football Club of Sion in 1997 - 1998, it also evolves/moves with the -18 of the club and it proclaims Champion of Switzerland and victorious Cut of Switzerland of the -18 years. He plays its first match in the professional world the 19 November 1997 against FC Zurich.
In January 2001, it leaves FC Sion to join the club Osasuna Pampelune where it will evolve/move during 6 months with the 2nd team in Segunda Division B in Spain. After a short passage in Spain, it signs with the Benfica Lisbon the season 2001 - 2002.
In 2006 - 2007, it is titular as side a left, thus taking part in the promotion of Neuchâtel Xamax in Super League. Its contract having finished on June 30th, 2007, it currently seeks a club.
