Jaux

Jaux is a common French, located in the department of the Oise and the area Picardy.

Geography

Small commune bordering Oise, Jaux extends on more than three kilometers. The recent installation of a cinema and the creation of an allotment with Jaux show the will of enlarging of the agglomeration, and of work are carried out on the RD 13 with an aim of making the street more accessible to the pedestrians, in particular by reducing the lanes of the cars.

A small Romance church, the church Saint Pierre, is beside the town hall of Jaux, not far from the school.

Sport and culture

The commune has two tennis courts, a room multisports covered, and a football stadium. Jaux proposes a great number of sports activities and cultural, such as the shooting with the arc, the kung fu, table tennis or a municipal brass band.
