Jaunay-Clan

Jaunay-Clan is a common French, located in the department of the Vienna and the area Poitou-Charentes.

Although not forming part officially of the agglomeration of Poitiers, contrary besides with purely rural communes, the urbanization is continuous between Jaunay-Clan and Chasseneuil-du-Poitou. It is on the territory of these two communes that the recreation park extends from the Futuroscope. It is on the commune of Jaunay-Clan that Futuroscope was established in 1983. Its head office, the administration and the engineering services of the Park are located on the commune. Jaunay-Clan also shelters part of the new district built around this park, the Technopole of Futuroscope, in particular the buildings of experimental high school innovating the international of Futuroscope, served besides by a line of bus starting from the center town of Poitiers.

Geography

Jaunay-clan is even divided into several small entities in addition to the borough of Jaunay-Clan. Many small villages and hamlets are attached to this commune like Chincé, Louneuil and Parigny for most important. Then the small named hamlets Lioux, Bel Air, Champalu and Train follow.

Chincé is a small borough. It offers a peaceful framework of life surrounded by several glazing bar as the Wood of the Rock, the Wood of fir trees or the unhewn timber. The brook Pallu crosses it.
