The grounds of the commune are sprinkled by the
Gave d' Oloron, (affluent of the
Gave of Pau) and by its tributaries, the brooks the Laus (10,5 km), the
Layoû and Arroder.

History
Paul Raymond note that in 1385, Jasses counted 22 fires and depended on the Bailliage of
Navarrenx.
The
Baronnie of Jasses, going back to 1644, depended on the Viscount of Béarn and included/understood
Araujuzon,
Araux, Jasses, Montfort and Viellenave.
