Jason and Argonautes

Jason and Argonautes (Jason and the Argonauts) is a British film and American carried out by Don Chaffey and left in 1963.

Synopsis

In the ancient Greece, Jason, to reconquer the kingdom of his/her father Éson usurped by the half-brother of this last, Pélias, must bring back to this one fabulous the Golden Fleece which is into remote Colchide. It embarks aboard ship Argo with a whole team of hero, the Argonautes. At the same time helped and opposed by rival gods and goddesses, they will be confronted with the unchained elements, more monstrous creatures the ones than the others and with various enchantments of which that of the love…

The stars do not appear in the credits, it is thus necessary to quote the principal ones of enters: the monstrous colossus Talos (very of squeaking bronze), both horripilantes Harpies, the crushing rocks Symplégades, the Hydre (a horrible dragon with seven heads) as well as a vindicatory army the terrible ones and nimble skeletons sniggerers and handling the sword like anybody. One only likes oneself to imagine what this work would have been if it had profited from the Cinémascope or of the 70 mm: there would it have gained in magic? What brings back for us to the eminent words of the person of obscure repute which said: “Art does not need innovation, but creation. ”
